Amazon unveiled its Fire TV edition smart TV branding Onida, in India. Branding with Onida, this Smart TV edition has built-in Fire TV experience that allows customers to easily find and watch their favorite movies and TV shows with cross-platform services such as Prime Video, Hotstar, Netflix, YouTube, Sony Liv, Zee5, Sun Nxt and more.

Amazon has announced the launch of its Fire TV Edition smart televisions in India, starting with the Onida Fire TV Edition television series.

The Amazon Fire TV edition experience offers a bunch of options for hardware manufacturers seeking to deliver a unified smart TV experience that simplifies TV viewing, offers access to a wide selection of popular streaming content, and provides exclusive features such as voice-enabled program discovery and control powered by Amazon Alexa.

The new Onida Smart TV with Fire TV edition comes with built-in WiFi, 3 HDMI ports, and 1 USB port to enable customers to easily connect DTH or set-top box, gaming consoles, soundbars, and home theatre systems.

Initially, the new Onida Smart TV with Fire TV edition available in two sizes - 32" HD Ready and 43″ Full HD (1080p) models.

The Onida Smart TV with Fire TV edition available at an introductory price of ₹ 12,999 for 32″ model size, and ₹ 21,999 for 43″ model size with attractive cashback, started December 20, 2019, on Amazon.in.

The Onida Smart TV with Fire TV edition powered by a quad-core processor, has a contrast ratio of 1200:1, and supported up to 300 nits brightness level.

The Onida Smart TV with Fire TV edition included Alexa Voice Remote that makes it easier to launch apps, search for favorite movies and TV shows, play music, switch inputs between on-demand and live TV; it also controls smart home devices, access thousands of Alexa Skills, and more.
